GRB Raj Bhog - 1kg

Rajbhog is the big brother of the rasgulla: a ball of fresh chhena simmered in sugar syrup, but larger, softer, and stuffed with saffron, cardamom and chopped nuts so the middle is a different thing from the outside. GRB have been making South Indian sweets since the 1980s and the tin is the format that travels: the sweets arrive swimming in their syrup, keep unopened in the cupboard, and need nothing but a bowl and a spoon. Serve them cold. An hour in the fridge firms the chhena and makes the syrup taste less sweet, which is how they are eaten at home.

Love Danphe Nepali Grocery Store! Great selection of authentic Nepali products, fresh items, and friendly service. It truly feels like a little piece of Nepal. Highly recommended! 😊 Thank you so much for your lovely response! 🥰 I wanted to mention that the only reason I didn’t give the fifth star at that time was because I hadn’t tried the momo yet. But now that I have — it’s 10/10! Absolutely delicious and full of Nepali authentic flavor. The momo achar was so good too — it really made the whole experience even better! 😍 I’ll definitely be coming back to buy more. Highly recommended to everyone looking for a true taste of Nepal 🇳🇵❤️
