WaiWai Noodles: Every Flavour, Box Size and the Right Way to Eat Them
WaiWai (also written “Wai Wai”) is the instant noodle Nepal grew up on — eaten straight from the pack with the seasoning shaken in, crushed into bhujia, or simmered into a two-minute soup. Here is every flavour and box size we carry, how each one tastes, and the ways Nepalis actually eat them.

What is WaiWai (Wai Wai)?
WaiWai — sometimes written “Wai Wai” as two words — is a pre-cooked, fried instant noodle made by Chaudhary Group, one of Nepal’s best-known brands. Because it is pre-cooked, you don’t have to boil it: many Nepalis simply open the pack, add the seasoning, and eat it dry as a crunchy snack.
Every pack comes with a masala (spice) sachet and, in most flavours, a chilli-oil or “Chatpate” sachet. That two-sachet combo is what gives WaiWai its signature savoury-spicy hit and is the reason it tastes different from Korean or Japanese ramen.
The flavours, and how each one tastes
Chicken is the classic — warm, savoury and mildly spiced, the flavour most people picture when they think of WaiWai. Veg (Vegetable) is a touch lighter and herby, a good everyday option and the vegetarian pick.
Quick Hot & Spicy dials up the chilli for a proper kick, while Masala Curry leans into a rounder, curry-forward masala. If you like heat, start with Hot & Spicy; for the hottest instant noodles we carry, step up to Current 3X Spicy Noodles. Browse the full noodle range to compare.
Party Mix Bhujia is a different format entirely: it’s WaiWai already crushed and tossed with the masala into a ready-to-eat namkeen — perfect for gatherings or topping chatpate.

Box of 30: the value pack
If WaiWai is a staple in your house, the Box of 30 (a mix of Chicken and Veg 70g packs) is the way to buy it — the lowest per-pack price and enough to last a busy household weeks. It’s our most popular way to ship WaiWai across Canada.
How Nepalis actually eat WaiWai
Dry (sukkha): open the pack, crush lightly, add both sachets, shake, and eat straight — the most common Nepali way.
Chatpate: crushed WaiWai tossed with diced onion, tomato, green chilli, lemon and the sachets — Nepal’s beloved street snack in a bowl.
Soup: drop the noodles into boiling water for two minutes, stir in the sachets, and finish with an egg or vegetables for a quick meal.
Bhujiya/topping: sprinkle crushed WaiWai over salads, sadeko or aloo for crunch.
Frequently asked questions
Is it spelled WaiWai or Wai Wai?
Both are used. The brand writes it as one word (WaiWai), but “Wai Wai” as two words is just as common in everyday spelling and search. They refer to the same noodle.
Can you eat WaiWai without cooking it?
Yes. WaiWai is pre-cooked, so you can eat it dry straight from the pack — crush it, add the seasoning sachets, and enjoy. That’s the classic Nepali way.
How spicy is WaiWai Hot & Spicy?
Noticeably hot but not extreme — a clear chilli kick from the extra chilli-oil sachet. For milder, choose Chicken or Veg; for the hottest instant noodles we carry, look at Current 3X.
Do you ship WaiWai across Canada?
Yes — Danphe Stores ships WaiWai (single packs and the Box of 30) to every Canadian province and territory.
