Danphe Handmades is a storefront of Danphe Stores, a trade name of Evertech Digital Inc., a company based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Our registered address is 3634 East Hastings St, Vancouver, BC V5K 2A9, Canada. We are the controller of the personal information described here.

When you place an order: your name, email address, phone number, shipping address and the contents of your order.

We never see or store your card number. Payments are processed by Square, who handle the card details directly.

We also collect ordinary technical information as you browse — pages viewed, approximate location from your IP address, and device and browser type.

To take payment, make up your order, ship it, complete the customs paperwork that a parcel crossing a border requires, and answer you if you get in touch.

Where the law requires a lawful basis for processing, ours is the performance of our contract with you for order information, and our legitimate interest in running and improving the shop for analytics.

Only the parties needed to complete your order. In practice that means: Square, for payment processing; Stallion Express and the carrier that actually moves your parcel; and the customs authority of the country you are shipping to.

A customs declaration is a legal requirement for international shipping. It carries your name, delivery address, and a description and value of the goods. We cannot ship abroad without providing it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

We ship worldwide from Vancouver, so ordering from outside Canada necessarily means your delivery details are transferred to carriers and government authorities in your own country and any country the parcel transits. Those parties handle it under their own laws, which may differ from Canadian law.

We use cookies to keep your cart and your session working, and Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful. Analytics tells us about traffic patterns, not about you individually.

Address suggestions in the checkout form are provided by Google Places, so what you type into the address field is sent to Google to return suggestions.

You can block cookies in your browser; the cart and checkout may stop working if you do.

Order records are kept as long as Canadian tax and business law requires — currently six years from the end of the tax year the order falls in. Analytics data is kept on Google’s retention schedule. Anything we no longer need is deleted.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email [email protected] and we will respond.

If you are in the EU or the UK you also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, to receive your data in a portable form, and to complain to your national data protection authority. If you are in Canada you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

We cannot delete order records we are legally required to retain, but we can delete everything beyond that.
